A 25’000 CHF grant will be awarded for an innovative pilot study covering the topic of regenerative techniques, biologics and materials for the surgical and non-surgical treatment of the ankle.

ON/ALTIUS Literature Grant Tendon

ON and ALTIUS are awarding a 2’500 CHF Literature Grant for a systematic review on surgical and non-surgical therapies for the regenerative treatment of tendon injuries or tendinopathies. The amount shall be predominately used to make the resulting publication open access.

We are inviting ESSKA members to write a systematic review on "stem cells for the treatment of early ostheoarthritis". After successfull review it will be published in JEO, the official open access journal of ESSKA. The grant covers the full publication fee.

The decision will be communicated October 2022.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be ESSKA members at the time of the application - apply for ESSKA membership here: https://www.esska.org/general/register_member_type.asp
  • The grant can be used only for the publication in JEO, the official open access journal of ESSKA
